To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, as part of theme education of “Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, the Party Branch of Teachers' Union organized teachers to watch the revolutionary traditional education film Mao Zedong 1949 on the afternoon of September 27. By reviewing the glorious history, teachers were deeply aware that behind the founding of new China was the sacrifice of the life and effort of countless older generation proletarian revolutionists. In the future work and life, we should cherish today's happy life, and never forget our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind. As an important carrier for the theme education of Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, the Party Branch of Plastic Machinery and Plastic Engineering Institute organized the teachers to watch the film Mao Zedong 1949, a revolutionary historical theme film, at 1:00 p.m. on September 27, 2019 in Jinji Baihua cinema. The film told the stories of major historical events such as the CPC Central Committee's enter Xiangshan Mountain, Amethyst incident, a battle to cross the Yangtze River, and the founding ceremony. After watching the film, the teachers realized the difficulty in the founding of new China and the historical significance of the Xiangshan Mountain revolutionary monument.

On the afternoon of September 27, 2019, the Party Branch of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing University of Chemical Technology organized 27 faculty members to watch the film Mao Zedong 1949 in the Jinjibaihua cinema. “Mao Zedong 1949” is a movie full of epic feelings. the first generation of party leadership with Comrade Mao as the core worked out strategies in the Shuangqing villa in Xiangshan Mountain of Beijing before the founding of new China. They overcame many difficulties, held the new people’s political consultative conference and established a new China.
Through film viewing, the party members and non-party members deepened their understanding of Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”. They realized how hard it was to establish the new China, as well as the importance to maintain the stability and prosperity of the country and to cherish the happy life at present. They experienced that seventy years ago, when the country was weak and poor, the elder generation faced difficulties, went through countless hardships and paid a heavy price to open up a road of sociali** with Chinese characteristics, formed the theoretical system of sociali** with Chinese characteristics, and developed the culture of sociali** with Chinese characteristics. Seventy years later, China is prosperous and harmonious with a high international position. The Communist Party of China, in order to make people suffer less from the war, tolerated the Nationalist Party in the CCP-KMT talks. The Party also made a resolute counterattack against the aggression of foreign powers in China's territory, to ensure that the Chinese people will be the master of their own affairs after the founding of new China without being bullied by the western powers. From 14:00 to 16:30 p.m., September 27, 2019, all the teaching staff including party members and the masses of the Mechanical Engineering Training Center carried out a learning activity of the patriotic education film Mao Zedong 1949 for the celebration of the 70th birthday of China. In order to improve the enthusia** of all the teaching staff with considerations of the special situation of everyone, most of the staff has adopted centralized learning while who were unable to attend adopted decentralized learning method. The centralized learning place for the east area was in the Jinjibaihua Cinema near BUCT at the North Third Ring Road. The centralized learning place for the north area was located on the Capital Cinema Changping Vanke store. All the staff watched the film with great interest and gained a lot. Mao Zedong 1949 provided us with a more solid foundation of faith and spirit. It reminds us that, as the country is developing fast, we should not how we got here. No matter how far we have gone and how brilliant we are, we should not forget the history of the Party and why we started. We should understand the great significance of the founding of new China, the precious peace which marked that the Chinese people stood up. Each teacher should proud of being Chinese. On the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, we offer our youth, sincerity, dedication and hard work, striving to be a good teacher with “ideal and faith, moral sentiment, solid knowledge and benevolence” and be the guide to “temper character, learn knowledge, think creatively, contribute to the motherland”.

On Friday, September 27, Party Branch of Mechanical Engineering and Automation organized a learning activity: watching the film “MAO ZEDONG 1949”.
