Plastic Mechanical and Plastic Engineering Institute was established in February 1993. It was formerly known as Plastic Machinery Laboratory of College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, founded by Prof. Zhu Fuhua, a famous scholar in domestic polymer processing sector. There are currently 20 teachers, including 4 professors, and 4 PhD supervisors; 15 PhD students, 70-80 postgraduates; and 6 external technicians employed.
