On the afternoon of June 28, Tan Dapeng from the College of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University of Technology visited our institute for research and exchange. Yu Hongjie, several members of the leadership team, and representatives of professors attended the research and exchange meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Weimin.
At the meeting, Wang Weimin gave a sincere welcome to Tan Dapeng and provided a detailed introduction to the development history of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, its distinctive focus areas, and its teaching and research achievements in recent years, fully showcasing the school's remarkable accomplishments in talent cultivation. Tan Dapeng expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the discipline development, talent training, faculty team, scientific research, and future plans of the College of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on student training, discipline development, and school management, providing new ideas and approaches for future work.
After the meeting, Tan Dapeng visited the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Compressor and System Technology to gain a deeper understanding of the laboratory construction, research team directions, and talent cultivation efforts of the school. During the visit, both parties further exchanged views on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the construction of research platforms, and reached a consensus on strengthening teaching and research cooperation.
The purpose of this meeting was to enhance experience sharing and cooperation between the two universities and jointly explore innovative paths for the development of the school. In the future, both sides will take this exchange as an opportunity to further strengthen communication, contribute to teaching and research collaboration, and promote the quality improvement and high-quality development of the school！
