On January 6, 2025, Deputy Director Zhang Rui of the Office of Domestic Cooperation and Exchange at the school and Deputy Secretary-General of the Foundation, along with Ren Feng, counselors Jiang Siqi and Li Xiaozhi, visited Pall (China) Co., Ltd. They discussed scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, and recruitment of graduates with the company. Participants included Chen Lei, a member of Pall CLT and Micro-E China BU Leader, Xie Ke, the Beijing factory manager and our 2000 graduate, Wen Tingxiu, Senior Project Manager, Cao Fengwei, Marketing Manager, and Wang Yanqing, Head of Design Engineers and our 1994 graduate.
Zhang Rui, on behalf of the school, expressed gratitude to Pall (China) Co., Ltd. for establishing the 'Beijing University of Chemical Technology-Pall Special Scholarship' at our institution and handed over the donation certificate issued by the school to the company.
At the exchange meeting, Chen Lei introduced the company's development journey, main business, corporate culture, target positioning, and future vision. Xie Ke reminisced about his wonderful time at his alma mater, expressed good wishes for the school's teachers and classmates, and indicated his hope to have more opportunities to play a bridging role between the school and the company's development. Ren Feng provided an overview of the college's basic situation, historical development, and details about major construction, scientific research, and graduates' employment directions, conveying the gratitude of the students who won the 'Beijing University of Chemical Technology-Pall Special Scholarship' to the company, and expressing thanks for the alumni's support in the college's development and the school's talent cultivation. Jiang Siqi and Li Xiaozhi introduced the number of graduates from the class of 25 and other related information. Both parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on scientific research cooperation, talent cultivation, internships, practical experiences, and graduate recruitment.
This visit is an essential part of the college's efforts to strengthen interaction and communication with scholarship-donating enterprises, as well as an important measure to promote job exploration and support graduate employment.
