On the afternoon of May 27, 2024, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the journals Pressure Vessel and Fluid Machinery successfully held an academic exchange meeting in Beijing. The meeting was presided over by Yu Hongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Xiao Bihong, deputy editor of Pressure Vessel Journal, Zhou Xinhua, deputy editor of Fluid Machinery Journal, Wang Weimin, dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Qian Caifu, Duan Chenghong, Pan Xin and some faculty representatives attended the meeting.
Professor Wang Weimin, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, warmly welcomed the arrival of the two deputy editors, thanked the two magazines on behalf of the school for their help to the teachers and students of the school in recent years, and emphasized the good connection between the column direction of the journal and the characteristic research direction of the school, and looked forward to the future potential of cooperation between the two sides.
Xiao Bihong, deputy chief editor of Pressure Vessel Journal, and Zhou Xinhua, deputy chief editor of Fluid Machinery Journal, elaborated on the basic situation, development history and column characteristics of the two journals in turn, especially mentioned the situation of papers published by Beijing University of Chemical Technology in the two journals, and expressed gratitude to the faculty and students of our college for their support to the two journals in recent years.
Yu Hongjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Professor Qian Caifu, Professor Duan Chenghong, Professor Pan Xin and other faculty representatives had an in-depth discussion with the editors of the two journals on the latest progress in the research field of the current research group and suggestions for the development of the two journals.
The successful holding of this academic exchange meeting is of great significance to the improvement of the quality of our subsequent academic papers and the training of talents.
