- The Organization of Concentrated Learning for All Teachers by the Party Branch for the Plastic Machinery Institute
A total of 19 people, 13 of which were from the Plastic Machinery Institute, conducted a concentrated learning at Room 408 of the Mechanical Engineering Building on September 20th (Friday) from 1:00-2:30 pm. The branch secretary made a presentation to present the overview of and spiritual inspiration from the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education and Member Deployment Arrangement Meeting organized by BUCT’s Party Committee. At the same time, the presentation also expounded the implication of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering’s Party Committee Work Plan Proposal for the Organization of the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education. The teachers attending the concentrated learning paid serious attention, actively participated in the discussions, and took notes very thoroughly. In the meeting, the participants have also grasped the notice on the work arrangements for the teaching and administrative staff's political theory education, as well as the Concentrated Theoretical Learning Plan for the 1st Semester of the 2019-2020 Academic Year in the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

On the afternoon of September 20th, 2019, the Party Branch for the Process Equipment Institute held a joint Party member gathering at Room 205 of the Science and Technology Building. Shuangxi Li presided over the meeting, and discussed the details regarding the establishments of the first and second Party branches for the process equipment institute, and elected the committee members of the second Party branch. After that, Qingfeng Wang organized the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education, calling on everyone to implement Xi Jinping's Thoughts on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era and earnestly promote the overall progress of grassroots Party organizations. In light of their own actual situations, the members of the branch freely expressed their opinions on the issue of discipline construction, unanimously expressed their determination to do well on the applications for professional certifications, striving to promote both Propulsion Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics into national first-class majors, as well as work hard for the inclusion in the Double Ten Thousand Plan.
The Organization of a Special-Theme Learning Activity for Teachers by Teachers' Joint Party Branch
In accordance with the work arrangement and related requirements for the university-wide "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education issued by the university’s Party organization, and in conjunction with the aim to thoroughly grasp and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructional spirit on the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education, the teachers’ joint Party branch organized a special-theme learning activity on September 20th at the 408 conference room in the Mechanical Engineering Building. The activity emphasized the effective implementation of the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education, the deep exploration and thorough understanding of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, the continued integration of systematization and concretization in learning, and the adherence of all Party members and teachers to the Party's original mission. Furthermore, it was also encouraged that the teachers continue to integrate learning and education, investigation and research, problems examination, as well as rectification and implementation throughout the theme education. During the activity, Branch Secretary Yang Zhang conveyed and interpreted the work plan documents of the university and its colleges on the theme education, clarified the future learning directions, methods, and objectives for the branch, formulated a study plan for the branch, and compiled the follow-up plans for the practice of the reform tradition education, as well as the specific practical and reliable problem-solving activities that inclusively involve the grassroots masses, thereby soundly promoting the theme education activity.
The Organization of a Special-Theme Learning Activity for Teachers by the Mechanical Engineering Training Center
On September 20, 2019, 13:00-14:40, at Room 205 of the Engineering Training Center Building in Changping Campus, the entire teaching and administrative staff of the Mechanical Engineering Engineering Training Center attended the work deployment arrangement meeting pertaining to the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education, as well as watched and draw lessons from Safeguard the First, a just governance precautionary and educational video. From 13:00 to 14:30 PM on September 20th, 2019, a total of 22 teaching and administrative staff of the fundamental course departments belonging to BUCT’s School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering gathered at room 409 of the Mechanical Engineering Building to attend the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education work arrangement and the group learning conference under the theme of The Key Outlines of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era.
The meeting was presided over by Comrade Jing Yang, who also happened to be the Party branch secretary. The meeting conveyed the university's work arrangement requirements for the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education, as well as the requirements stipulated by the documents issued by the college, such as The Work Plan for "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Theme Education Issued by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and The Weekly Reports (1st Edition) for The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering’s Implementation of the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Theme Education. Subsequently, the study plan for the theme learning activity organized by the fundamental course department’s Party branch was issued. The participants were then educated on the contents of The Key Outlines of Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from page 1-40, followed by the idea of “Xi Jinping’s Thoughts on Sociali** for the New Era Is a Guiding Ideology That Needs to Be Advocated for an Extended Period of Time by the Party and the Country”, as taught by Party Branch Secretary Yang Jing. Last but not least, the participants took some time to self-study and take notes for such contents as “Chapter 1. The Entering of Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics into the New Era” and “Chapter 2. The Fundamental Development and Improvement Direction Needed to Be Taken by China in the Contemporary Era”.

Starting 14:30 on September 20th, 2019 at room 120 of East Campus’ Main Teaching Building, numerous teachers attended special-theme learning activity organized by the Party Branches for the Schools of Mechanical Engineering and Automation. The contents presented during the activity were mainly based on the Report of the 19th National Congress and the important quotes by Xi Jinping delivered during the keynote speech of the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Theme Education Conference. Throughout the activity, the Party branches of both colleges have thoroughly abode by the requirements from their supervisors, actively combed for the required materials, and utilized various channels to carry out the politics-related learning, and facilitate the participants’ learning of the Report of the 19th National Congress, as well as the arguments related to Xi Jinping’s Ideology on "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind".
