- The Organization of a Concentrated Learning Activity by the First Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
A special-theme learning activity was organized by the First Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and was presided over by Party Branch Secretary Le Zhang. The activity began with the reading and discussion on a column in People’s Daily: Pay Great Attention to the Coordination Between the Upper and Lower Echelons, and Effectively Grasp the Work on Special Rectification Projects — Taking the In-Depth Implementation of the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Theme Education Activities as the Main Discussion Perspective. This special-theme learning activity has also strengthened everyone's political awareness, as well as successfully reminded them of the need to give each party member a wake-up call and to effectively coordinate the works of the upper and lower echelons, with the ultimate aim of resolutely fighting against the progress and naivety that may potentially weaken the Party, and against the health issues that may potentially endanger the Party.
Following the above, Party Branch Secretary Le Zhang took the stage and shared his thoughts on an article titled as The Central Committee of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League Celebrated the 70th Founding Anniversary of the People's Republic of China, and pointed out that the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League should thoroughly implement the mainstream thoughts on the Sociali** with Chinese characteristics for the new era, carry forward the fine tradition of multi-party cooperation, consolidate the common thinking and political foundation, and ultimately building a politically-determined Socialist party with Chinese characteristics.
- The Organization of a Concentrated Learning Activity by the Second Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
The Second Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering organized a self-learning activity within the Student Party Branch from September 18th to 20th, 2019, and studied The Excerpts on Xi Jinping's "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" Concept, or the contents of the work arrangements for the above theme education as issued by the university or college. The relevant content of the work program has stimulated the initiative of the branch’s comrades to learn about the spirit of the new era, hence achieving satisfactory outcomes.
The activity encouraged the participants to always treat the stance of the people as the integral stance, the people’s wish to pursue happiness as the fundamental mission, and the obligation to wholeheartedly serve the people as the main purpose; take the path selected by the people, respect the principal position and the pioneering spirit of the people, maintain the strong kinship ties among the people, consolidate the enormous power of the masses’ aspirations, as well as unite and lead the people in the joint construction of the history-rewriting undertaking. These steps are the inevitable selection for those who respects the development patterns of history, as well as an expression of self-consciousness for the members of the CPC who adhere to the values of "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind". Revolving around the above ideas, the discussion groups expressed their own conclusions, through which they’ve gained a deeper perception on the levels of responsibility and effort that need to be shouldered and exerted by the general members of the CPC.
- The Organization of a Concentrated Learning Activity by the Third Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
Xiangyu Meng, secretary of the Third Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, led an article reading activity with the attending party members, discussing the front page of People's Daily: Promoting the Spirit of Craft**anship featuring the Pursuit of Perfection, Inspiring the Youth to Use Their Skills to Succeed and Serve the Country. In the activity, the participants learned about the important instructions delivered by President Xi Jinping to China's skilled compe*****s on their achievements in the 45th World Skills Competition. We have learned that the quality of laborers plays an important role in the development of the country and the nation while the technical talents are an important foundation to support China’s manufacturing industry, and play an important role in promoting high-quality economic development. We should appreciate and learn from the spirit of craft**anship that advocates the relentless pursuit of perfection, and connect this valuable spirit with the professional skills of our college students, so as to inspire us to develop and serve our country with our skills, to display the level and quality of produced by our current batch of college students, and to strive to become the benchmark of the new era of young students.
Branch Secretary Xiangyu Meng then organized the learning of a People's Daily column, titled as: A Magnificent 70 Years — A New Era of Hard Work. The comrades then took turns and shared their own "National Day" sentiments.
Branch Secretary Meng then shared his experience in the work with the army. In combination with the recent volunteer service experience, he exchanged his ideas with the attending comrades. The comrades in turn enthusiastically expressed their opinions, especially when talking to the PLA team passing by. The comrades’ participation in volunteer service activities can best enhance the pride of the motherland’s 70-year leap in achievement.
- The Organization of a Concentrated Learning Activity by the Fourth Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
On September 20th, 2019, in order to implement the leadership policy of General Secretary Xi, the Fourth Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was divided into several study groups, through which the "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education was carried out.
A clas**ate shared his ideas with the other students during the study. He said that the phrase "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" was mentioned in the report of the 19th Party Congress, and then used it as the opening phrase for the theme of the conference. General Secretary Xi Jinping also mentioned in the report that, be it weak or strong, good or bad, our Party has not changed its mind and is determined to overcome the even the difficulties that seem impossible to overcome, creating miracle of human history one after another in the annals of history. Moreover, General Secretary Xi has also emphasized that adhering to this initial aspiration and mission was the fundamental driving force for the members of the CPC to continue advancing, impeccable displaying the great significance of this meaningful phrase.
The students of the fourth Party branch have said that as party members, they would not forget their initial intentions, would keep our mission in mind, listen to the Party’s words, and resolutely follow the Party.

The Fifth Party Branch of the Batch of 2016 Undergraduates of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering organized a "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education activity, focusing on the general requirements of the theme education: "staying true to the initial aspiration, undertaking the mission, finding the gap, and implementing the plans". We should bear in mind the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, bear in mind that the people's yearning for a better life is our goal, adhere to high requirements and standards, and constantly learning and making progress.
Hong Zhang, secretary of the party branch, organized the participants to learn from People's Daily's Resolutely Not Leaving The Path of Peaceful Development. History and reality have repeatedly told us that only by adhering to peaceful development and working together can we achieve a win-win situation, and even a win for all parties involved.

The First Party Branch of the Lower Undergraduate Grades of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering carried out a "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind" theme education activity. Branch Secretary Jinming Zhao organized the other party members to read Beijing Daily, focusing on Xi Jinping's inspection of Beijing Xiangshan Revolution Memorial Site. Xi Jinping stressed that he would stay true to the original aspiration and keep the mission in mind, forge ahead, and confidently continue to consolidate and develop the new China;
Branch Secretary Jinming Zhao organized the rest of the party members to read a Beijing Daily column, titled as The 70th Anniversary of the Unforgettable National Day Memories, and shared his precious memories of the 60th National Day;
Following this, Branch Secretary Zhao then shared his experience of joining the party in the army, calling on party members to keep learning, make continuous progress, strengthen themselves, strive for advancement and draw closer to the Party organization.
He then organized the party members to learn from the Xuexi Guoqiang app and determined the branch's learning plan and weekly learning plans.
At 14:00 on September 20th, The Second Party Branch of the Lower Undergraduate Grades of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering organized a concentrated learning activity in the office of the 5th Floor of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in the Changping Campus Library. To begin with, the branch secretary conveyed the relevant ideas and work arrangements of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering on the Work Program of "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind", and then learned the "Detailed Work Implementation Rules for Party Member Development Compiled by Beijing University of Chemical Technology", further learning and clarifying the related process with the development of party members, standardize and develop the work of party members, and guarantee the quality of the development of new party members. Following that, the branch members discussed with each other and take notes carefully. The Second Party Branch of the Lower Undergraduate Grades of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering will continue to strengthen concentrated study and further strengthen the party's ideological and work style.
