2018 Annual Democratic Life Meeting of Leading Group was Held by the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

　　In the afternoon of March 25, the Democratic Life Meeting of the Leading Group of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was held in the No. 1 Conference Room of Yifu Conference Center according to the unified requirements and deployment of the Party Committee of the School. Vice President Ren Zhongqi, and Shan Lan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College attended the meeting, which was presided over by Zhang Bing, Secretary of the Branch Party Committee of the College.

The Scene of the Meeting

　　At the democratic life meeting, Zhang Bing, Yang Weimin, He Lidong, Wang Yongtao, Yu Hongjie, Wang Feng and other comrades, centering on the requirements of “Three Stricts and Three Honests” and in contrast to the relevant requirements of the spirit of the “Eight Regulations” of the Central Committee, reported the comparative inspection of the group and individuals, and made critici** and self-critici**. Attendees sincerely and frankly faced up to their problems and put forward concrete and feasible rectification measures on the basis of ****ysing the current problems and their causes.

　　At last, Vice President Ren summed up the democratic life meeting. He pointed out that in accordance with the spirit of the Central Committee and the Ministry of Education, as well as the deployment and requirements of the Party committee and the leading group of the Party’s mass line education practice activities of the university, the leading group of the college has made serious study and talk and full preparation, which brought us a high-quality meeting. Centering on the theme of “Being People-oriented, Being Pragmatic, Being Incorrupt” and focusing on fighting “four undesirable work styles”, they carried out critici** and self-critici** which was aimed at promoting the development of the college by combining the work practice of the college with personal work style, and confronting contradictions and problems. As a result, the measures for rectification and the direction of efforts were made clear. It is hoped that we will continue to maintain the good spirit of the previous stage, keep learning and looking for problems, constantly study the guiding principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s major speeches and the document spirit of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Education and the university, adhere to high standards in regards to quality of work and the pragmatic work style and firmly fight the “four undesirable work styles” to maintain honesty and integrity, strengthen theoretical study and raise the level of thinking, so that the new ideas for the development of the college and new measures for the development of disciplines can be put forward, and a new situation for the college development can be created.
