In order to further study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, further promote the strict administration of the Party to the grass-roots level, and promote the comprehensive progress and all-round perfection of the grass-roots Party construction in our college, while encouraging and guiding the student Party branches to constantly enhance the organizational building and strengthen the sense of responsibility of student secretaries, the Work Report Meeting of Undergraduate Party Branch Secretaries of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was held at the Conference Room 214 of Mechanical Building on the morning of March 22, 2019. Mr. Wang Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Branch Party Committee of the College, Mr. Zhang Chao, Secretary of General Party Branch of Undergraduates, the Party branch secretaries and branch representatives of undergraduates attended the meeting.
The report meeting was carried out by combining on-site display and written report, covering all the student Party branches of the college. All student Party branch secretaries carried out a 5-minute PPT display covering the basic situation of the branch, the compliance of the asses**ent indicators, the duty performance of the branch committee, and the Party branch’s learning and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Sociali** with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the19th CPC National Congress, and their political functions and the role playing as battle bastions. During this process, they introduced the relevant situation, problems and solutions in the branch practically. Among them, Zu Wenjing, the First Party Branch Secretary of 2015-entry Undergraduates of the College, said that they should strictly control the development of Party members, carry out in-depth talks and widely listen to the opinions of Party members and the masses. At the same time, they will integrate theory with practice to carry out practical exercises for Party members. Zhao Dizhou, the Fifth Party Branch Secretary of 2015-entry Undergraduates of the College, expressed their intention to make breakthroughs in theory, innovation and form, improve theoretical accomplishment, innovate working methods, enrich the forms of development and improve the learning effect, so as to carry out the branch work in an all-round way.
In the end, Deputy Secretary Wang Feng made a summary speech. He firstly recognized the work of the Party branch secretaries, and then stressed that the Party branches should improve their organizational power, play a good role in the Party branch, and pay attention to the political nature of the branch. More importantly, three requirements were put forward. First, he thought that the Party construction work should be strictly implemented by following the asses**ent standards to consolidate the foundation. Second, the Party branch should innovate the way of life development of the organization to improve the learning effect and make the life of the branch alive. Third, they should give full play to the political functions of the Party branch, improve its political position and build a red fortress rooted in the grass-roots level, thus carrying forward the red spirit of the Party branch.
This meeting will become a solid foundation for the **ooth development of Party construction in the next period.
