On the afternoon of 12 November 2018, review expert Prof. Lv Ming, former principal of Taiyuan University of Technology in charge of undergraduate teaching work, visited and investigated the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Prof. Yang Weimin, dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, all leaders, persons in charge of each major, teachers and students of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering participated in a symposium, with Prof. Zhang Bing, secretary of the party committee as host.
In the symposium, Prof. Yang Weimin, dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering reported the overall situation of college building to the expert, including talent cultivation orientation and objective, teaching staff, teaching resources, quality assurance, featured projects, current issues and further improvements.
Expert Prof. Lv Ming dialogued with students and teachers attending the symposium, and investigated in depth on the aspects such as college’s major layout, courses offered, talent cultivation features and major planning.
